Biomasse Heizung und Pflanzenkläranlage

An extensive heating and water conservation concept was worked out for Jahnishausen Manor. Its implementation was carried out by contracting between Siedlungs- und Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Jahnishausen e.G. and Alpha Energiesysteme GmbH. A heating house was built in which an expandable modular wood pellet heating system optimally heated the premises throughout all stages of expansion. Wetlands for wastewater treatment and two rainwater cisterns were constructed in support of the water conservation concept. The cleaned water is used for flushing the toilet and the washing machines. The rainwater is used to water the garden. The heating system and the wastewater-treatment wetlands began operating at the end of 2004. At that time, the work on the house was continued and the second phase of the concept prepared.
